Doll Capri Pants

These pictures are the original pictures from the first website I had.  Because I gave some items as gifts or no longer have some items or for other reasons are not able to redo the pictures with my new website’s name.  Please excuse these pictures and the wrong website name; thank you!

Materials Used Scrap worsted weight yarn
Hook Size  H
Measurements
Notes  13" doll (the one I used is a Mattel 1992 blonde doll)

Round 1: Ch 28, sl st tog to form a ring. Be careful not to turn. Ch 2, hdc in same st. Hdc in each st across. Sl st tog to the first hdc, not the ch 2.  Do this throughout the pants.  It makes it that you don't have holes.

Round 2: Ch 2, hdc in same st and hdc in every st around. Sl st tog.

Round 3-5: Repeat Round 2.

1st Leg Round 6: Ch 2, hdc in same st. Hdc in next 14 sts (halfway around)Now, sl st to the first hdc.  This makes the first leg hole.

1st leg Round 7-11: Ch 2, hdc in same st. Hdc in every st around.

1st leg Round 12: Edging: *Ch 3, sc in next st. Repeat from * around.  Fasten off and weave in ends.

2nd leg Round 6: Attach yarn with a sl st to front of pants right by the first leg, now hdc around (14 sts). Sl st to original hdc.

2nd leg Round 7 -11: Ch 2, hdc in same st. Hdc in every st around.

2nd leg Round 12: Edging: *Ch 3, sc in next st. Repeat from * around.  Fasten off and weave in ends.

Now sew up crotch area with leftover strings underneath.

Measure 1/4" elastic around doll's waist, cut and sew ends tog to form a ring. Single crochet elastic to first hdc row front loops. Fasten off and weave in ends.
