Plus-Size Sexy Bra and Thong Plus-Size Sexy Bra and Thong

These pictures are the original pictures from the first website I had.  Because I gave some items as gifts or no longer have some items or for other reasons are not able to redo the pictures with my new website’s name.  Please excuse these pictures and the wrong website name; thank you!

Materials Used I used 2 types of yarn to make 2 of these. I used Bernat Ping Pong black yarn and I used Pound of Love white. The Ping Pong yarn is just a little bit itchy, but when you don’t have it on for long…it’s great for looks since it has sparkles. I used a total of 1 ½ skeins of the Bernat Ping Pong yarn for the 2 pieces.

Notes

Make 2- these are the cups
Ch 5, sl st tog to make a ring.
Row 1: Ch 3, do 3dc in ring, ch 2, 4dc in ring, ch 3 and turn.
Row 2: In between the 1st and 2nd dc of Row 1, do 4dc and ch 1. In the ch 2 space from Row 1, do 3dc, ch 2, 3 dc (corner), ch 1, do 4dc in between the 3rd and 4th dc of Row 1, ch 3 and turn.
Row 3: In between the 1st and 2nd dc of previous row, do 4dc and ch 1. 3dc in the ch 1 space, 3 dc, ch 2, 3dc (corner) ch 1, 3dc in the ch 1 space, do 4dc in between the 3rd and 4th dc of the previous row, ch 3 and turn.
Row 4-8: Repeat Row 3. The only difference is that you will be doing 3dc in every ch 1 space from the previous row, so as you add to the triangle you will increase this every row.
At row 8, finish off.

Top Straps (make 2): Chain 55.
Side Straps (make 2): Chain 65.

The bottom of the bra is where you started. Sew the top straps to each of the top points of the bra. Sew the side straps to the side points. In the middle, sew the triangle together. For mine, I sewed a 3 st triangle together in the middle.

The white bra is slightly different as that one is the first one I made. But it is the exact same concept. Sometimes the first thing you make is a little different because you learn from it.

Sexy Thong Plus-Size Bikini
Once again, this is not for skinny people. This pattern is for those of us who aren’t skinny, but still like to feel sexy for our husbands.

At row 9, finish off.
I used ¼” elastic and sc it to the straight part of the triangle (the starting place). I measured myself and then sewed the elastic together. After sc it to the bikini, I sc all the way around it. I chained 48 for the thong part. It did end up a little bit too big. Then I sewed one end to the point of the bikini and the other end to the elastic.
