Minion (Inspired) Tissue Pocket Minion (Inspired) Tissue Pocket

 

Materials Used scrap yellow, blue, gray, black and white yarn. Upright tissue packs. I got mine from Dollar Tree. keyring and lanyard hook
Hook Size  G
Measurements  3" wide by 4 1/2" tall
Notes  I cut off the plastic so that the tissues will come out easier. There is a flap that opens up in the upright packs. 

Round 1: with blue yarn: Ch 10, 2 hdc in the 3rd ch from the hook, hdc in the next 6sts. 6hdc in the last st, turn and work down the other side. Hdc in the next 6 sts, 3hdc in the last st, sl st tog.

Round 2: blue yarn: Ch 2, hdc in same st, hdc in each st around, sl st tog hdc, not ch 2, sl st tog.

Round 3: blue yarn: Repeat Round 2.

Round 4: blue yarn: Repeat Round 2.

Round 5: attach yellow yarn: Repeat Round 2.

Round 6: yellow yarn: Repeat Round 2.

Round 7: yellow yarn: Repeat Round 2.

Round 8: yellow yarn: Repeat Round 2.

Round 9: attach black yarn: Repeat Round 2.

Round 10 attach yellow yarn: Repeat Round 2.

Round 11: yellow yarn: Repeat Round 2.

Round 12: yellow yarn: Ch 1, then sl st in each st around. For hook, ch 10, sl st to edge. Fasten off and weave in all ends.

Attach keyring and lanyard hook.

 

Eye:

White yarn: Ch 4, sl st tog. Ch 3, 11dc in ring, sl st tog. (12 dc)

Change to gray yarn, ch 1, sc, Repeat this around to make the outer iris color. Sl st tog.

Leave a tail to sew on button and also to sew eye onto the black of the cozy like shown in the picture. Weave in the rest of ends.

With black, backstitch and add a smile where you want it to go. I forgot and added mine later. The second picture reflects my smile added.
