Notes | You can use these to attach to hats, scarves or other items. Or you can hang for an ornament. |
Use this pattern of mine for the Awareness Ribbon then follow the rest of these instructions to make the angel.
After making the Awareness Ribbon, then you are ready to make the wings.
Wings:
Round 1: Ch 2, 9 sc in the first ch, join with a sl st.
Round 2: Ch 1, sc in same st, ch 8, skip one st, sl st, ch 5, skip one st, sc in next st, ch 5, skip one st, sl st, ch 8, skp one st, sl st to first st.
Round 3: In the wings or ch spaces, hdc, 6dc,2hdc, sc into the small wing, 6sc, sc into second small wing, 6sc, sc into second big wing, 2hdc, 6dc, sc, sl st into beg ch. Fasten off and weave in ends.
I fluff the stitches to lay flat. Then I sew the ribbon and button on like the picture above and sew it to my project. In the example, I sewed it to my hat. I've also put it on a headband before.
