Materials Used 1 skein of Homespun yarn

Measurements girls approx. size 4/5
Notes  

 

Ch 50.

Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook and in next 4chs, work 3dc in next ch (corner), dc in next 6 chs, 3dc in next ch (corner), dc in next 12 chs, 3dc in next ch (corner), dc in next 6 chs, 3dc in next ch (corner) dc in last 14 chs.  Ch 2, turn.

Rows 2-8: Dc in each st putting 3 dc in center st of each corner. Ch 2, turn.

Row 9: (You will make the sleeve holes in this row) Dc in each st to first corner, ch 5, dc in center st of second coner, dc across to center st of third corner, ch 5, dc in center of fourth corner and each st to end.

Rows 10-24: Ch 2, turn, dc in each st across.

Row 25: *Ch 3, sc in next st. Repeat this around to make ruffled border. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Sc around neckline and down the sides.

 

Sleeves: Repeat to both sides.

Round 1: Attach yarn with a sl st to the armpit, Ch 2, dc around. Sl st tog.

Round 2-14: Ch 2, dc around. Sl st tog.

Round 15: Ch 1, sc around. Sl st tog.

Round 16: Ch 3, sc in next st.  Repeat this around to make a ruffled border.

Sew on 2 buttons where you want them.
