Notes | The pieces are done separately and then sewn together. Gauge: 3" = 4 V doubles stitches and 2 rows = 2 1/2" To adjust for sizing: Ch more...just remember to keep your count even as the stitch needs and even count. Use a larger or smaller hook for adjusting also. |

Row 1: Ch 36, 2dc in the 4th ch from the hook. *Skip a st, 2dc in next st. Repeat from * across. End with a dc in the last st. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 3, 2dc in middle of 2dc from the previous row. *2dc in the middle of the next 2dc from the previous row. Repeat from *. End with a dc. Turn.
Rows 3-16: Repeat Row 2. Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
Front (make 2)
Row 1: Ch 20, 2dc in the 4th ch from the hook. *Skip a st, 2dc in next st. Repeat from * across. End with a dc in the last st. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 3, 2dc in middle of 2dc from the previous row. *2dc in the middle of the next 2dc from the previous row. Repeat from *. End with a dc. Turn.
Rows 3-16: Repeat Row 2. Fasten off. Leave about a 10" tail on it for sewing to the back. Weave in all other ends.
Sleeves (make 2)
Row 1: Ch 30, 2dc in the 4th ch from the hook. *Skip a st, 2dc in next st. Repeat from * across. End with a dc in the last st. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 3, 2dc in middle of 2dc from the previous row. *2dc in the middle of the next 2dc from the previous row. Repeat from *. End with a dc. Turn.
Row 3-14: Repeat Row 2. Fasten off. Leave about a 15" tail on it for sewing sleeves up. Weave in all other ends.
Now, it's time to sew the seams. This yarn can be a pain to work with. It can break when you are trying to sew, but it's hard to make a mistake that won't be hidden.
Sew up both of the sleeves first. Then sew the shoulder seams. Leave 3" unsown for the front. Now sew the sleeves on and go right down to sew the side up after the sleeve. Do it to both sides.
Weave in all ends.
You can add flowers, buttons or edging if desired.
