Ch 4, sl st tog.
Round 1: Ch 3, 2 dc in ring, ch 2. 3 dc in ring, ch 2. Repeat 3 dc in ring, ch 2 2 more times. (4 groups of 3 dc, ch 2) sl st tog at the top of the ch 3.
Round 2: Sl st over 2 sts to the corner, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3dc corner made. *3 dc in next corner, ch 2, 3 dc. Repeat 2 more times. (4 corners made - 2 groups in each corner) Sl st tog at the top of the ch 3.
Round 3: Follow the pattern in Round 2 all the way around. Just like a normal granny square.
Round 4-6: Do the same.
Round 7: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Sl st tog. Fasten off and weave in ends.
