Flower Scrubber and dishcloth

These pictures are the original pictures from the first website I had.  Because I gave some items as gifts or no longer have some items or for other reasons are not able to redo the pictures with my new website’s name.  Please excuse these pictures and the wrong website name; thank you!

 

Materials Used scraps of Nylon Plastic Canvas yarn and scraps of Cotton yarn

Ch 4, sl st tog to make a ring.

Round 1: Ch 3, 11 dc in ring, sl st tog and ch 3.

Round 2: 4 dc in the same space as ch 3. Remove hook and put hook in the top st of ch 3. Put hook back into last dc and loop over and pull loop through. (Making a popcorn). *Ch 3, skip a st and do 5 dc in next stitch. Remove hook and put hook in the top st of ch 3. Put hook back into last dc and pull loop through. (Making a popcorn). Repeat from * all the way around. Sl st tog and sl st into first ch 3 space, ch 3.

Round 3: 4 dc in the same space as ch 3. Remove hook and put hook in the top st of ch 3. Put hook back into last dc and pull loop through. (Making a popcorn). Ch 3, 5 dc in same chain 3 space. Repeat popcorn stitch around. You will have 2 popcorn with ch 3 in between all the way around. Total of 12 popcorns this row. Fasten off nylon and weave in ends. Sl st cotton yarn to one of the chain 3 spaces.

Round 4: With Cotton yarn, 3 dc in each chain 3 spaces all the way around. Sl st to first ch 3.

Round 5: In back loops only, dc in next st and then 2dc in next st. *Dc in next 2 sts.  2 dc in next st. Repeat from * around. Sl st tog and ch 3.

Round 6: *Dc in next 4 sts, then 2dc in next st. Repeat from * around. Sl st tog and *ch 4, sc in next st. Repeat from * around to make a ruffle. Fasten off and weave in ends.
