Row 1: Ch 55, in 5th ch from hook dc, cross over and dc into the 4th st, *skip 3sts dc in that st, cross over dc and dc in skip 2nd st. Repeat from * across. (17 cross sts)
Row 2: Ch 3, dc in each st.
Row 3: Ch 3, dc in each st.
Row 4: Ch 3, *skip a st, dc, cross over dc in skipped st. Repeat from * across.
Row 5: Ch 3, dc in the next 4 sts, *2dc, dc in the next 4sts, Repeat from * across. (increasing)
Row 6: Ch 3, dc in each st.
Row 7: Ch 3, dc in each st.
Row 8: Ch 3, dc in the next 6 sts, *2dc, dc in the next 5sts, Repeat from * across. (increasing)
Row 9: Ch 3, dc in the next 6 sts, *2dc, dc in the next 7sts, Repeat from * across. (increasing)
Row 10: Ch 3, dc in each st.
Row 11: Ch 3, dc in each st.
Top and Bottom: I used the crab st. You don't have to, but I really like how this stitch gives an edge to items. You can just single crochet it or use any other border that you like. But I really suggest to put on your to do list to learn this stitch. You won't regret learning it. It really finishes off items.
