Felted Auto Toy Pouch

 

Materials Used 3- 3 1/2 oz Paton's Classic Wool Merino
Hook Size  H
Measurements

Ch 55.

Round 1: 2 hdc, in 3rd ch from hook. Hdc across and in last st, 6 hdc, turn and hdc down the other side. End with 3 hdc in last st. Sl st tog.

Round 2: Ch 2, 2 hdc in same st. Hdc across, 3 hdc in corner middle st and 3 hdc in next st, then hdc across. End with 3 hdc. Sl st tog.

Round 3: Repeat Round 2.

Round 4: Repeat Round 2.

Round 5: Ch 2, hdc in same st. Hdc across and sl st tog.

Rounds 6- 37: Repeat Round 5.

Round 38: Ch 1 and sc in each st around. Sl st tog.  Fasten off and weave in ends.

Strap:

Row 1: Ch 100, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across, ch 1 and turn.

Row 2: Sc in BLO across, ch 1 and turn.

Row 3: Sc in BLO across, ch 1 and turn.

Row 4: Sc in BLO across and fasten off.  Weave in ends.

Felt in washing machine.  I only had to do twice to get the look I wanted.

I used grommets to feed the strap through and sewed the strap up.  I also added a button and made a buttonhole.
