Notes

Do 4 granny squares (5 rows). These are the sides.
The top is done differently. Ch 18, sl st to the first chain. Do not twist chain. This makes a ring. Ch 3 and then dc in same stitch 2 more times. Ch 2, do 3 more dc in same stitch, ch 1. Skip 4 stitches, then do 3dc, ch 2, 3dc in the next stitch, ch1. Skip 4 stitches, then do 3dc, ch 2, 3dc in the next stitch, ch 1. Skip 4 stitches, then do 3dc, ch 2, 3dc in the next stitch, ch 1, sl st to the first ch 3.
Now continue the granny square pattern with no chain 1 in between for 3 more rows.
The top piece will have a hole in the middle and a total of 4 rows.
After sewing the squares together to fit the tissue box, do 3 rows of sc on the bottom of the cozy.

On the pink and purple cozy, I added only 1 row of sc and then went around in front loops and then back loops with fun fur. I finger fluffed the fun fur.
