This is a small 6" tall stuffed Teddy Bear. |
Skirt:
Round 1: Ch 32, Sl st tog to form a ring. Ch 3, dc-ch2-2dc in the same sp as the ch 3. *Skip 2 sts, 2dc-ch2-2dc in next st. Repeat from * around. Sl st tog.
Round 2: Sl st over to ch 2 sp, ch 3, dc-ch2-2dc in that sp. *Skip over to next ch 2 sp, do 2dc-ch2-2dc in the sp. Repeat from * around. Sl st tog.
Round 3: Repeat Round 2. Fasten off and weave in ends. It slips over the tummy of the bear and stays in place without straps.
Shirt:
Row 1: Ch 33, hdc in 3rd ch from hook. *Skip 1 st, hdc-ch1-hdc in next st. Repeat this down the row, end with hdc, ch 2 and turn.
Row 2: *Hdc-ch1-hdc in ch 1 sp from previous row. Repeat from * down the row. End with hdc, ch 2 and turn.
Row 3: Repeat Row 2.
Row 4: Hdc-ch1-hdc in ch 1 sp from previous row. Skip to next ch 1 sp, hdc-ch1-hdc 3 times. Ch 4 and skip over to next ch 1 sp, hdc-ch1-hdc in that sp. Hdc-ch1-hdc in next 2 ch 1 sp. Ch 4, skip over to next ch 1 sp, hdc-ch1-hdc in that sp. Hdc-ch1-hdc in next 3 ch 1 sp. End with hdc, ch 2 and turn.
Row 5: Hdc-ch1-hdc in next 4 ch 1 sp. In the ch 4 sp, hdc-ch1-hdc in the center. Hdc-ch1-hdc in the next 3 ch 1 sp. In the ch 4 sp, hdc-ch1-hdc in the center. Hdc-ch1-hdc in next 4 ch 1 sp. End with hdc, ch 2 and turn.
Row 6: Ch 3, sc in next st. Repeat this across. This gives it a ruffle.
Go back up to neckline (starting row 1) and do the same there. End with ch 2 off the side and sc to make a buttonhole.
Sew button on and put everything on bear.
