Row 1: Ch 68, dc in the 4th ch from the hook, dc in the next 8sts.(Dc-ch1-dc) in next st, dc in next 10 sts, (dc-ch1-dc) in next st, dc in the next 22sts (dc-ch1-dc) in the next st, dc in the next 10sts, (dc-ch1-dc) in the next st, dc in the last 10sts. Ch 3 and turn.
Row 2: *Dc across to ch 1 sp, work (dc-ch1-dc) in the ch 1 sp. Rep from *. Ch 3, turn.
Rows 3-10: Repeat Row 2.
Row 11: Armhole row: Dc in each st to ch 1 sp, dc in next ch 1sp (skip over all the other dc-leave unworked) then dc across to next ch 1 sp, dc in that sp and dc across to the end. Sl st to the ch 2. Armholes made and now you will be working in rounds.
Row 12: Dc to armhole, dc dec 2sts, dc around to other armhole, dc dec 2sts, finish dc around, sl st tog.
Row 13: Ch 3, sc in same st, *skip 1st, dc-sc in next st. Rep from * around. Sl st to first ch3.
Row 14: Sl st over to sc, ch 3, sc in same st, *skip to sc from previous row, work dc-sc in this sc. Rep from * around. Sl st tog.
Rows 15- 36: Rep Row 14.
Row 37: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Armholes:
Row 1: Attach yarn to the armhole stitch, ch 3, dc in next 9 sts, work 2dc dec and sl st tog.
Row 2: Ch 1, dc in same st, *skip 1st, sc-dc in next st. Rep from * around. Sl st to ch 1.
Row 3: Ch 1, dc in same st, *skip over to next sc, sc-dc in that sc. Rep from * around. Sl st to ch 1.
Rows 4-20: Repeat Row 3. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Repeat to other armhole. Weave in ends.
Sew on 4 buttons on one side. On other side, attach yarn with sl st and sc down to line up to the buttons...as you line up the button, ch 3, sc. Rep for each button. Fasten off and weave in ends.
